“It’s possible the handset in question could launch as Realme XT Pro, but it isn’t clear if it would launch in India alongside the Realme XT”
Realme XT is confirmed to be the name of the brand’s first phone with 64MP primary rear camera, and the handset is set to go official in India later this month. Now while we wait, details regarding another mysterious Realme handset with 64MP sensor surfaced on the internet – could it be the Realme XT Pro? Though an exact identity of the phone is not known, it has a similar 6.4-inch AMOLED display, 64MP primary sensor with quad-camera setup and a 4,000mAh battery. However, the Realme T Pro, if it indeed turns out to be the handset’s name, will offer major upgrades in the form of the Snapdragon 730G SoC and 32MP selfie camera.
The purported Realme XT Pro is said to have a Samsung-made AMOLED panel and 1,080 x 2,340 pixels resolution and waterdrop notch. Furthermore, the said handset is said to rock a next-generation in-display fingerprint sensor for security and a faster 30W VOOC fast charging. It will reportedly come with 8GB LPPDD4X RAM coupled with 128GB UFS 2.1 storage that should be further expandable via microSD card. ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie is likely to boot the handset. In terms of optics, apart from the 64MP primary sensor, the quad-camera setup is said to consist of an 8MP + 2MP + 2MP sensors, which will likely be ultra-wide-angle lens, depth sensor, and macro lens, respectively.
It’s possible the handset in question could launch as Realme XT Pro, but it isn’t clear if it would launch in India alongside the Realme XT sometime later this month. Meanwhile, Realme is scheduled to launch the new Q-series phone on September 5th in China. Speculations are rife that Realme Q will be a rebranded version of Realme 5 Pro, this means it would ship with Snapdragon 712 SoC. Since the launch is just a few days away, we should know more information quite soon.
