“The Realme XT update is 2.87GB in size and is currently rolling out to select few users, with a broader rollout slated to begin in the next few days”
Realme XT (review) is getting a new software update in India that brings improvements, system-wide dark mode, and more. It carries version number RMX1921_11_A.11 and weighs around 2.87GB. The update improves the accuracy of a built-in compass and brings October 2019 Android security patch. The changelog also mentions improvements to the camera quality in low-light shots, zoom quality, white balance effect, and noise in some scenes. It also brings wide-angle video shooting as well. The Realme XT update fixed the colour abnormality in a few scenes and white balance instability in some scenarios.
Since it’s a huge update, it is ideal if you’re connected to a Wi-Fi network and have at least 40 percent charge left. The OTA update is currently being rolled out to a select few users randomly, and a broader rollout to everyone will begin in the next few days once Realme makes sure there are no critical bugs. Users can check for the update in the Update section in System Settings. Alternatively, they can download the update ZIP file and manually flash it.
