Reasons to buy the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus
Durable design
The phone features a silicone vegan leather back and is available in two Pantone-validated colour variants: Surf the Web (Purple) and Gibraltar Sea (Blue). It boasts an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, along with MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability. Measuring just 162.15 x 74.78 x 8.29 mm and weighing only 191g, the device offers a slim, lightweight profile that feels far from bulky in the pocket.
In our experience, it stands out as one of the slimmest smartphones in its segment. For context, the Nothing Phone (3a) (review) measures 8.35 mm thick, while the POCO X7 Pro (review) comes in at 8.31 mm. The included stylus features a metallic build and combines lightweight construction with durable design.
Smartphone | Thickness | Weight | IP Rating |
Motorola Edge 60 Stylus | 8.29 mm | 191 grams | IP68 |
Nothing Phone 3a | 8.35 mm | 201 grams | IP64 |
POCO X7 | 8.4 mm | 190 grams | IP66 + IP68 + IP69 |
Vibrant display
The Motorola Edge 60 Stylus features a 6.7-inch pOLED 2.5D Super HD display with a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 3,000 nits, and HDR support. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. In our experience, the newly launched Motorola device delivers an excellent viewing experience, with punchy, vibrant visuals, especially in indoor settings.
Practical AI features
The Motorola Edge 60 Stylus runs Android 15 out of the box and comes with a promise of two years of OS updates and three years of security updates. It also introduces a suite of AI-powered features through the Moto AI Suite, including Moto AI Widget, Catch Me Up, Take Notes, Remember This, Magic Canvas, and Journal. In addition, users benefit from Google’s Gemini Live and Circle to Search. These features work seamlessly in our experience, and Motorola deserves credit for thoughtfully integrating tools that genuinely enhance productivity.
Fast charging
The Edge 60 Stylus packs a 5,000mAh battery paired with 68W TurboPower charging technology, and 15W wireless charging support. Its fast charger was able to charge the phone’s battery from 20 percent to 100 percent in just 35 minutes. In comparison, the Nothing Phone (3a) took 51 minutes and 50 seconds, the POCO X7 (review) took 50 minutes and 40 seconds and the iQOO Z10 (review) took 43 minutes to charge for the same percentage.
Smartphone | Battery Capacity | Charging Support | Charging time (20% to 100% ) |
Motorola Edge 60 Stylus | 5000 mAh | 68W Turbo Power Charging | 35m |

Reasons to skip the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus
Average low light photography
This smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabalisation (OIS), a 13MP ultra-wide lens and a 3-in-1 light sensor. On the front, it has a 32MP selfie shooter. While reviewing this smartphone we found out that Motorola’s colour approach doesn’t perform well in low-light conditions even when the night mode has been enabled. It also struggles in managing flares and light sources.
Palm rejection with Stylus needs improvement
Overall, the stylus delivers solid performance, though its palm rejection isn’t entirely consistent. We expect this to be addressed in a future software update. While stylus-to-screen latency is well-optimised, a more paper-like writing experience would have made it even better.
