In our experience, the Realme Narzo 80 Pro has a bright and vibrant display with good contrast and viewing angles. It also offers a smooth experience as far as outdoor visibility is concerned. Additionally, the phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor that works smoothly.

Good gaming performance

The Realme Narzo 80 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage space. Additionally, it offers up to 14GB of dynamic RAM. As far as thermals are concerned, this smartphone has a Cyclone VC cooling system with 6050 square mm of VC cooling area. It also comes with a dedicated GT Boost mode for gaming.

In our experience, this phone works without any issues when it comes to everyday usage. There are no heating issues in everyday usage as well. On the gaming front, we found the Realme Narzo 80 Pro to handle most popular titles well including BGMI, Genshin Impact and CoD.

Decent rear cameras

The Realme Narzo 80 Pro sports a 50MP primary lens with OIS, up to 20x digital zoom and an AI Night Mode, and a 2MP monochrome sensor. On the front, it has a 16MP selfie camera. The primary camera of the phone captures detailed and vibrant images that have been boosted slightly for colour and contrast. The rear cameras are also good at detecting and preserving details. Reasons to skip the Realme Narzo 80 Pro

UI could be better

The Realme Narzo 80 Pro runs Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0 out of the box. It will get two years of OS updates and three years of security updates. In our experience, this smartphone comes with a fair-amount of pre-loaded apps. However, these can be uninstalled easily. Also we found the app animations to be a bit basic, something on the heels of the effects available in Microsoft PowerPoint.

No expandable storage

While this phone does come with up to 256GB of storage space, it misses out on the expandable storage option. Lack of this feature limits its usability in the longer run.

No NFC

The Realme Narzo 80 Pro lacks NFC support, which facilitates tap-and-pay digital transactions. Other phones in the same price segment like the CMF Phone 2 Pro
