
Redmi 10 2022 has been launched in India as a new budget offering from Xiaomi. The device comes as a trimmed-down variant to the Redmi 10 Prime that launched in the country back in September. The handset is a rebrand of the Redmi 10C that debuted in China recently. It comes with a waterdrop notch for the selfie snapper, a rear-mounted physical fingerprint sensor, a textured finish on the back panel for a comfortable grip on hands, and dual rear camera sensors. Key specifications include a 6.71-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 680, 128GB storage, a 50MP primary camera, and MIUI 13 custom skin out of the box.

Redmi 10 2022 is priced at Rs 10,999 for the 4GB + 64GB model and Rs 12,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. The handset comes in Blue and Black colour options and will be available via Flipkart, Mi.com, retail outlets, and Mi Home Stores. The company is offering an instant discount of Rs 1,000 through HDFC Credit card and EMI transactions. The sale starts on March 24th at 12 PM IST.

The Redmi 10 sports a 6.71-inch HD+ LCD display with 1,500 x 720 pixels resolution, a waterdrop notch for the selfie snapper, Corning Gorilla Glass layer, and a sizeable bottom bezel. Powering the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC coupled with Adreno 610 GPU. The chipset will be paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. There’s 2GB of extendable virtual RAM.
The handset runs Android 11 based MIUI 13 custom skin out of the box. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. The handset packs a 6000mAh battery and has 18W standard charging support. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. It has rubberised seals and splash resistance support as well.
