Redmi 10 Prime 2022 and its “potential” POCO rebrand receive BIS certification

Looks like Xiaomi is readying yet another rebranded phone for India.

Highlights
  • Alleged Redmi 10 Prime 2022 and its POCO rebrand has received the BIS certification.
  • The Redmi 10 Prime 2022 could be a rebrand of the Redmi 10 2022 that launched officially last week.
  • Redmi 10 Prime 2022 launch date in India is yet to be revealed.

Xiaomi is readying to launch two new phones in India today as they have received the BIS certification in the country with the model number 22011119TI, as spotted by tipster Mukul Sharma. Going by the looks of it, the handset could be the Redmi 10 Prime 2022. Interestingly, the listing also includes its potential POCO rebrand. This comes just a week after the brand launched the Redmi 10 2022, which comes with the 90Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, and a 5,000mAh battery. There are chances the Redmi 10 Prime 2022 can be a rebrand of the Redmi 10 2022 much like how the Redmi 10 2021 was rebranded as Redmi 10 Prime in India. The BIS listing doesn’t reveal any hardware specifications but we believe they will remain the same as the Redmi 10 2022.
