Redmi is gearing to up to launch a new budget phone, the Redmi 11A. After being spotted on the TENAA database and BIS, the phone has now appeared on the IMDA database with the model number 22120RN86G. In comparison, the Indian variant has the model number 22120RN86I, while the China version has the model number 22120RN86C. Unfortunately, the IMDA listing, as spotted by MySmartPrice does not reveal any key specifications.
The IMDA certification suggests the Redmi 11A will be debuting not just in China but in other markets as well, including India. The handset will arrive as a successor to the Redmi 10A and is expected to bring some notable improvements.
Redmi 11A specifications (rumoured)
As said, the Redmi 11A appeared on TENAA recently, thereby revealing some key specifications. According to the listing, the phone is tipped to sport a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution. The handset is expected to be powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core processor paired with 2GB/4GB/6GB/8GB RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB/256GB storage options. The internal storage might be further expandable via a microSD card.
The phone is expected to pack a 5000mAh battery, which should have standard charging support. The Redmi 11A is likely to boot Android 12 OS, which should be skinned with MIUI custom skin out of the box. As for the cameras, the phone is expected to feature a 50MP dual camera on the back. The front is also said to house a 50MP lens but we’re not sure how accurate the information is. That’s pretty much it about the Redmi 11A at the moment but we will be on the lookout to learn more information.
