Xiaomi launched its most affordable 5G phone yet, called the Redmi 12 5G, in India this week. Thanks to its competitive price tag, the brand is promising a “5G revolution” with this new launch. The Redmi 12 5G starts at Rs 11,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 6GB+128GB and 8+128GB variants cost Rs 13,499 and Rs 15,499 respectively.
The Redmi 12 5G is India’s first phone with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. It also features a glass back, 6.79-inch FHD+ 90Hz LCD, Gorilla Glass on the front display, and an IP53 rating.
