“The Redmi 7A is a budget offering with a 5.45-inch display and a Snapdragon 439 SoC”
A few weeks ago, Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi unveiled its latest entry-level smartphone called the Redmi 7A in China. Recently, the phone went on sale in some European countries. In the recent past, there have been rumours that the company is now planning to launch the handset in the near future. However, now the Redmi 7A’s launch in India has been officially confirmed.
In an interview with 91mobiles, Anuj Sharma, Head of Marketing, Xiaomi India has revealed that the Redmi 7A is indeed reaching the Indian shores in the near future. He said that the Redmi 7A could either be launched alongside the Redmi K20 series or within a few days of the event. The K20 series is due for a release in the country in mid-July, possibly on July 15th or July 17th.
