“Our take on Xiaomi’s latest affordable smartphone – the Redmi 7A”

If there’s one brand that has reshaped the Indian smartphone market, it’s undoubtedly Xiaomi. Gone are the days when buyers opting for an affordable smartphone had to settle for less. The Chinese OEM has put forth some extremely compelling offerings which offer tremendous value for money. Case in point, the Redmi 7A which despite its wallet-friendly price tag, offers powerful specs. I’ve been using the smartphone as my daily for a few days and here’s why I think it’s worth a buy.

Verdict

For its starting price of Rs 5,999, the Redmi 7A brings a lot of compelling features to the table including an 18:9 aspect ratio display, long-lasting battery life and comparable performance to the competition.

The smartphone does cut some corners, particularly in the camera department but that’s to be expected at this price point. Correspondingly, buyers in the market for a wallet-friendly smartphone should definitely shortlist the Redmi 7A.
