Xiaomi recently launched the Mi 10 and the Mi 10 Pro smartphones in China. Right after the launch, Xiaomi India head Manu Kumar Jain teased the launch of the smartphones in the Indian market. To add to it, both the Mi 10 series smartphones received the Indian BIS certification a little while ago. Now, 91mobiles has learned from industry sources that Xiaomi is planning to launch the Mi 10 series of smartphones sometime during mid-March. Not only that, the company will also launch the Redmi 9 smartphone during the same event.
Little is known about the Redmi 9 smartphone, except that it will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G70 SoC. This is the processor that the new Realme C3 smartphone also uses.
Mi 10 specifications
As for the Mi 10 series specifications, the vanilla model flaunts a 6.67-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a single punch-hole selfie camera. The display comes with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, which is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.
In the camera department, the Mi 10 features a quad rear camera setup with 108MP + 13MP + 2MP + 2MP sensors, backed by a 20MP front camera. Coming to the battery of the device, the Mi 10 sports a 4,780mAh battery, which has support for up to 30W wired as well as wireless fast charging, along with 5W reverse charging. The device is available in three color variants – Ice Blue, Peach Gold, and Titanium Silver.
Moving on to the Pro handset, the Mi 10 Pro specifications include 512GB storage, 108MP + 8MP + 12MP + 20MP rear quad-camera setup, and 4,500mAh battery with 50W wired fast-charging. The rest of the specifications of the smartphone are the same as that of its sibling.
