Back in March, alleged Redmi 9 live-images have surfaced online, revealing the entire design. The handset is equipped with quad cameras at the back along with an LED flash and is arranged in a circular ring, similar to the POCO X2. It has a physical fingerprint sensor for security. While it doesn’t reveal the front-design, the handset could have a waterdrop notch or punch-hole cutout to house the selfie camera. The volume rocker and power button could be placed on the right spine, while the SIM tray on the left side.
Redmi 9 specifications
As for the earlier leaked specifications, the Redmi 9 is said to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC coupled with at least 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage that may be further expandable. The handset is said to feature a 13MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. It could have an HD+ display with slim bezels and a beefy battery. We should know more information going forward, so stick around.
