Redmi might be working on a new budget phone, dubbed the Redmi A2. The launch of the phone could be inching close as 91mobiles Hindi has revealed full specifications, price, and a good-quality render ahead of the unveiling, courtesy of noted tipster Sudhanshu. The phone appears to be a pretty basic and straightforward design with a waterdrop notch on the front, dual cameras on the back with an LED flash, multiple colour options and a polycarbonate build quality. The Redmi A2 will arrive as a follow-up to the existing Redmi A1.

Redmi A2 has a waterdrop notch on the front and there is a sizeable chin below the screen. The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge. Flipping the phone to the back, you see a square module that houses dual camera sensors and an LED flash. We also get Redmi branding on the rear panel. Since the Redmi A2 is a budget phone, it might not come with a physical fingerprint sensor. The phone can be seen in Black, Blue and Green colour options.
