Redmi AirDots truly wireless earbuds were launched in China back in March 2019, but they never made it to India. It seems the Xiaomi sub-brand is on the verge of launching the successor to the AirDots as the Redmi AirDots 2 have now received the Bluetooth certification, as discovered by 91mobiles. The listing suggests the true wireless earbuds with model number TWSEJ061LS and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. However, not much else is known about the Redmi AirDots 2 TWS earbuds at the moment. We expect the Redmi earphones to come with features like quick connect, low-latency, a touch sensor to control music playback/volume/skip, and more. The Redmi AirDots 2 could launch sometime down the year and should be priced as aggressively as the first-gen earbuds However, it remains to be seen if the pair will be made available in India this time around.
