“Android 10 update for Redmi K20 brings improved location permission control, privacy settings, enhanced dark mode, quick replies, new gesture navigation and more”
Redmi K20 Android 10 update is now being rolled out to users in India via the MIUI 126.96.36.199.QFJINXM update file. The update brings December 2019 security patch and weighs 2.2GB in size. However, it seems to be rolling out a select few users for now, and the software version is also different. The Android 10 update for Redmi K20 fixes the bug that couldn’t open the notification settings in the Notification shade in Second Space and images overlapping in scrolling screenshots. It also optimised the localised payment security icon for India. The Android 10 update brings improved location permission control, privacy settings, enhanced dark mode, quick replies, new gesture navigation and more.
You can check for the update in Settings in the about phone section, and if you haven’t received it yet, you can download the ZIP file and manually flash it. To recall, Redmi 20 Android 10 update was reportedly rolled out in China back in December 2019 following the MIUI 11 update based on Android 9 Pie update in October.
