Redmi K30 5G is scheduled to launch on December 10th in China and the company has been pretty vocal about teasing its features. It recently revealed the 6.67-inch display, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support and new red colour variant. It is the brand’s first 5G phone and would ship with the latest Snapdragon 765G SoC. Now, the company has confirmed the Redmi K30 4G version in a new teaser poster and this variant may launch in India sometime next year.
Separately, the Redmi K30 4G with model number M1912G7BE/M1912G7BC has appeared on the TENAA certification database, revealing key specifications. The listing suggests the handset will be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor and would arrive in multiple variants — 6GB + 64GB, 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB of internal storage. While the name of the processor isn’t revealed, the rumour mill suggests it could be the Snapdragon 730G gaming chipset. In terms of optics, it’ll have a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor and a 20MP selfie snapper on the front. It will measure 165.3×76.6×8.81mm and weigh 208 grams. The Redmi K30 4G will pack a 4,400mAh battery and support up to 30W fast-charging.
Earlier rumours have tipped the Redmi K30 will have a 120Hz refresh rate and both the 4G and 5G variants are likely to ship with Android 10 with MIUI 11 custom skin on top. Since the launch is just a few days away, we should know more details soon.
