Redmi K30 launch date and expected price
The Redmi K30 launch event on December 10th will only see the announcement of the vanilla K30 as the Redmi K30 Pro is rumoured to come out some time next year. So far, the company has revealed that the Redmi K30 will come with a dual punch-hole cutout much like the Samsung Galaxy S10+ and support for 5G connectivity. We expect to see a non-5G model of the Redmi K30 for markets like India.
Redmi K30 will succeed the Redmi K20, so you can expect the smartphone to launch with a mid-range price tag. Weibing said a couple of months ago that the Redmi K30 5G price will likely be more than RMB 2,000 (about Rs 20,000).
Redmi K30 specifications
As for the specifications, Redmi K30 is tipped to sport a 6.6-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. A Redmi K30 leaked image also suggests the smartphone will sport a large circular camera module on the back that will house quad-camera sensor. Redmi K30 is expected to be a mid-range smartphone and is rumoured to be powered by a Snapdragon 730 or Snapdragon 730G chipset. Other Redmi K30 specifications may include 64GB internal storage for the base model.
