Redmi K30 India launch might be on the cards as the handset has bagged BIS certification just a day ahead of its launch in China. According to the listing, the handset will have a model number M191G7BI and will be assembled by Flextronics Technologies. While the exact launch date isn’t revealed, it could be right after China launch or early 2020. That said, the Redmi K30 4G-only variant should be coming to India as the 5G infrastructure isn’t completely ready in the country. If rumours are to be believed the Redmi K30 4G variant will get a Snapdragon 730G SoC, while the 5G model will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 765 chipset.

Redmi K30 AnTuTu benchmark
Separately, the Redmi K30 has appeared on the AnTuTu benchmark platform and has managed to score 302,847, which is relatively impressive. Furthermore, it scored 98,651 points in the CPU, and 87,564 points in the GPU test. The MEM score and UX score stands at 57,985 points and 58,647 points, respectively. The Snapdragon 765G SoC comes integrated with X52 modem for 5G connectivity, supports Quad HD+ display with 60Hz refresh rate and full HD+ resolution with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and Rec2020 colour gamut.
Redmi K30 specifications
Xiaomi has teased some key Redmi K30 specifications ahead of the its launch in China. These specs include a 6.67-inch OLED display with a punch-hole cutout, a 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support, 120Hz refresh rate, and a 64MP quad camera setup, among other things. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and possibly face unlock as well. On the front, it is tipped to have a 32MP sensor and a ToF sensor for 3D face recognition.
