Redmi K40 series specifications
Things get a little overwhelming when trying to determine the Redmi K40 series specifications if we look at each model. On the chipset side of things, we’re likely looking at the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 on the Redmi K40 and Snapdragon 775 on the Redmi K40S. That leaves us with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-powered variant. If last year’s release cycle is anything to go by, it will likely be unveiled at a later point alongside the Redmi K40 Ultra (tentative).
We can expect the Redmi K40 Pro camera configuration to mimic those of the Xiaomi Mi 11. However, it could use a previous-generation 108MP ISOCELL sensor to distinguish itself from the Mi 11. We can expect it to be paired with an ultra-wide-angle lens, a macro lens, and a depth sensor. Previous reports told us that at least one Redmi K40 variant will come with a 120Hz LCD screen. We can expect the series to be launched in the coming weeks.
