The Redmi K50 launch date has been officially confirmed via a Weibo post by Redmi. As per the post, the K50 series will launch in China on March 17th. The launch will most likely include the Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro, and Redmi K50 Pro+; to recall, the company launched the Redmi K50 Gaming smartphone powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset last month. Redmi K50 and K50 Pro specifications

The vanilla Redmi K50 is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset, whereas the Pro series phones will use MediaTek SoCs. Redmi K50 Pro will use the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC, as confirmed by Redmi, while the Pro+ model will get the flagship Dimensity 9000 chipset.
