Rumours suggest the Redmi K50S and Redmi K50S Pro will be rebranded as Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro. Let’s take a look at the specs of the devices.

Redmi K50S Pro, Redmi Pad launch, specs

Starting with the Redmi K50S Pro, the device (with the model number 22081212C) has recently been certified by the CMIIT authorities. The Redmi K50S Pro (codename: mayfly) might launch alongside the Redmi K50S in China in Q3, 2022. The device, as mentioned earlier, is tipped to feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which will likely be paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. In all likelihood, the Redmi K50S Pro will feature 120W fast charging support. On the display front, we can expect the device to come with a 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED panel.

Coming to the Redmi Pad, the device (with the model number 22081281AC) has also been certified by the CMIIT recently, but the specifics of the tablet are relatively unknown for now. That said, the tablet is tipped to launch soon in India as well. We certainly don’t expect the Redmi Pad to be a high-end tablet, and it will likely come with slightly inferior specifications when compared with the already launched Xiaomi Pad 6. We can expect the brand to launch a 5G variant of the Redmi Pad as well.
