Redmi K70 series with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC launched in China: prices, specifications

The Redmi K70 series has finally been launched in China, as promised. The lineup includes the Redmi K70, Redmi K70 Pro, and Redmi K70e. The top-end model in the lineup is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, while the Redmi K70e comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC ticking at its core. Other key Redmi K70 series specs include an OLED display, HyperOS custom skin, and up to 120W fast charging support.

Redmi K70 series price in China

• Redmi K70 Pro 12GB + 256GB model is priced at RMB 3,299 (approx Rs 39,500), RMB 3,599 (around Rs 43,100) for the 16GB + 256GB, RMB 3899 (approx Rs 45,900) for the 16GB + 512GB model, and RMB 4299 (around Rs 50,600) for the 24GB + 1TB version.
• Redmi K70 is priced at RMB 2499 (around Rs 29,900) for the 12GB + 256GB model, RMB 2699 (around Rs 32,300) for the 16GB + 256GB variant, RMB 2999 (approx Rs 35,900) for the 16GB + 512GB, and RMB 3399 (around Rs 40,000) for the 16GB + 1TB model.
• Redmi K70E 12GB + 256GB model is priced at RMB 1999 (around Rs 23,600), RMB 2199 (around Rs 25,900) for the 12GB + 512GB, and RMB 2599 (approx Rs 30,600) for the 16GB + 1TB version.

There is also a special Redmi K70 Pro Lamborghini edition, with a unique design language, and comes in Yellow and Green colourways.

• Display: The Redmi K70e sports a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED 12-bit display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,800 nits peak brightness, 1,920Hz PWM dimming and a tiny puch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter.
• Processor: The handset is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset.
• RAM/Storage: The chipset will be paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
• OS: The handset runs on Android 14-based HyperOS custom skin out of the box.
• Cameras: The Redmi K70e features a 64MP primary camera with OIS and an LED flash, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. There is a 16MP  snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.

• RAM and Storage: The Redmi K70 and Redmi K70 Pro will be equipped with up to 24GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. There will be support for 4GB virtual RAM.
• OS: Both models run on Android 14-based HyperOS custom skin out of the box.
• Cameras: The Redmi K70 Pro feature a 50MP Light Hunter 800 primary sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP 2X Portrait Lens. There is a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.
• Redmi K70: Redmi K70 has a 50MP Light Hunter 800 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. There is a 16MP shooter on the front.
• Battery: There is a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. There is a Surge G1 battery management chip as well.
• Connectivity: 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for charging.
