Alongside the Redmi Note 12 4G and the Redmi 12C, Redmi also launched a new storage variant of its already-launched Redmi Note 12 5G (review) smartphone in India. The Redmi Note 12 5G is now available in three storage configurations in the country, and the top-tier variant now has 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The device comes with a 48MP triple rear camera setup, a 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED display, and a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor.

Redmi Note 12 5G new memory variant launched in India

The new 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant of the Redmi Note 12 5G is priced at Rs 21,999 in India. That said, those who want to buy the maxed out variant of the device can get their hands on the same for Rs 20,990, as part of the introductory offer, which provides with a flat Rs 1,000 instant discount. The introductory offer includes bank and other offers as well.

If, however, you don’t want to spend this much, there are two existing memory options available as well. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of the Redmi Note 12 5G is priced at Rs 17,999, while the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is available for Rs 19,999. All three variants can be purchased via Amazon India and Mi Store in the country.

Redmi Note 12 5G specifications

The Redmi Note 12 5G features a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200 nits peak brightness. Under the hood, the Redmi Note 12 5G comes powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor, which is coupled with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard memory. In terms of cameras, the Redmi Note 12 5G offers a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera at the back. At the front, the device makes room for a 12MP selfie snapper.

Coming to the battery of the device, the Redmi Note 12 5G has a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port. The device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and has a 3.5mm headphone jack and an IR Blaster.
