A new Redmi Note series phone has appeared on China’s 3C certification website with the model number 23049RAD8C. While the certification, spotted by tipster Mukul Sharma, doesn’t reveal the moniker of the phone, it is speculated to be the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which could be the new model in the company’s Redmi Note 12 lineup. The 3C certification shows the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will ship with 67W fast charging support, much like most mid-range Xiaomi/Redmi/POCO phones launching these days. The charger bears the model number MDY-12-EF.

While the 3C certification doesn’t reveal much else about the specifications of the phone rumours suggest the phone is expected to bring some notable improvements over the current Redmi Note 12 models, especially in the chipset department.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo specifications (expected)

Redmi Note 12 Turbo is expected to launch soon. The phone is tipped to come with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, and narrow bezels. The phone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The handset is likely to boot Android 13-based MIUI 14 out of the box.
