A Redmi Note 12 Turbo ‘Harry Potter’ edition has been teased by the brand on Weibo before the Turbo edition’s launch on March 28th in China. The special edition model is expected to launch later this month, after the Redmi Note 12 Turbo goes official in China. We believe (and hope) the partnership may expand to other markets outside of China and allow fans to purchase memorabilia from the popular novel and movie series.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo ‘Harry Potter’ edition will come in customised packaging, with the Hogwarts logo in the middle of the box and Redmi X Harry Potter branding at the bottom. The Redmi Note 12 Turbo teaser images shared by the company show the rear camera module of the phone, which is quite identical to the standard model. However, the Harry Potter edition gets ‘Wizarding World’ and ‘Harry Potter’ text engraved and there’s also the ‘Hogwarts’ emblem printed on the back panel.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen2 SoC paired with Adreno GPU. The chipset could be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage that might be further expandable. The phone is expected to pack a 5,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is expected to boot Android 13 OS with MIUI 14 out of the box. The handset is expected to pack a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, and narrow bezels. Connectivity features could include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging. 

Moving to optics, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo Edition is said to come with a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary shooter, and a 2MP third lens. The phone could house a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
