Redmi recently launched its Redmi Note 12 series of smartphones in China, then in India. So far, the brand has launched five devices in the Redmi Note 12 lineup, namely the Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus, Redmi Note 12 Speed Edition, and Redmi Note 12 Pro Extreme Edition. The brand is now reportedly working on launching the sixth device in the Note 12 lineup, which is said to be called the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. Ahead of the potential launch, the key specifications of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo have surfaced. Let’s take a look.
Redmi Note 12 Turbo specifications
According to tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the upcoming Redmi Note 12 Turbo will come powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 processor which, by the way, has not been announced yet. The tipster further adds that the device will feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The processor will be paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage. The storage type, however, has not been revealed yet.
Moving on to the cameras of the device, the tipster claims that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will make room for a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear camera setup. Coming to the battery of the device, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo is tipped to sport a 5,500mAh battery, which will reportedly have support for up to 67W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port.
The leak falls in line with the one shared by Kacper Skrzypek, who also claimed that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo would be equipped with a Qualcomm processor. It remains to be seen whether Redmi launches the Redmi Note 12 Turbo in India or not and, if it all the brand decides to launch the device in India, whether it comes with the same moniker or a new one.
