After Redmi Note 7 launch, ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2 price in India slashed by Rs 3,000

“The entire ASUS ZenFone series has received a price cut in India and now starts from Rs 8,499”

With the Redmi Note 7 finally launched in India, the competition has taken note. ASUS has slashed the ZenFone Max Pro M2 price in India as it will compete directly with the Redmi Note 7 handset. All three variants of the ZenFone Max Pro M2 (review) are now Rs 3,000 cheaper, a significant drop for the affordable segment, especially considering the smartphone was launched less than three months ago. Apart from this, ASUS has also permanently cut the prices in India of the ZenFone Max M2, ZenFone Max Pro M1 (review), and ZenFone 5Z (review).

Starting today, you will be able to purchase the phones at the discounted prices from Flipkart. The ZenFone Max Pro M2 price in India for the base variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage will now be Rs 9,999. If you want 4GB RAM+64GB ROM, then you will have to pay Rs 11,999 for the device. The third variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage is now priced at Rs 13,999. Its sibling ZenFone Max M2 is cheaper by Rs 1,500 now, with the 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB variants priced at Rs 8,499 and Rs 10,499, respectively.

As for the ZenFone Max Pro M1, all three variants of the smartphone have also received a discount of Rs 1,500. Now, the handset will start at Rs 8,499 for the variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The 4GB RAM variant is now Rs 10,499, while the one with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage is Rs 12,499. The Max Pro M1 is still a very good phone and houses a massive 5,000mAh battery.

Finally, the 2018 ASUS flagship, the ZenFone 5Z (review), which houses a Snapdragon 845 processor, will now start at Rs 24,999. The phone was originally priced at Rs 29,999, so this is big price cut; of course, the smartphone has been available at this price in nearly all Flipkart sales over the past few months. This is the base variant of the phone and comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. Like the base variant, the option with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is now priced at Rs 27,999, whereas the one with 256GB storage will cost you Rs 31,999.

As mentioned earlier, the new prices are now live on Flipkart and all devices are in stock. If you were planning a new ZenFone purchase, the phones are now cheaper than before.
