“This is the first update for the Redmi Note 7 since it has gone on sale in India”
Xiaomi recently announced the new Redmi Note 7 series in India. Sales for both the phones have also commenced recently and the siblings are fairly similar but differ in some key areas, including the camera department. While the Redmi Note 7 Pro features a powerful 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, the Redmi Note 7 has a 12MP rear primary lens on board. However, the latter is the first to get an update. Xiaomi has pushed out a new MIUI 10.2.7.0 update that improves the camera performance of the phone.
A post in the MIUI forum says the update contains code to improve the low light performance of the Redmi Note 7. Sadly though, there’s no mention of a changelog or any other improvements or bug fixes with the new update since this post was from a user and not a forum moderator. The update size is around 500MB and still has the February security patch, suggesting it might bring a few minor bug fixes.
