“The new MIUI v10.3.12.0 update has started rolling out and by the last week of July all Redmi Note 7 Pro units will receive it”
The Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone in India is getting a new update. Xiaomi has started rolling out MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM v10.3.12.0 in batches for the handsets in the country. It’s being done in batches and is said to reach all Redmi Note 7 Pro users by the last week of July. The MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM v10.3.12.0 update carries build number V10.3.12.0.PFHINXM, Xiaomi revealed in its Mi Community forum. The firmware said to fix issue related to frame drop while shooting videos via the Redmi Note 7 Pro.
“Some of our users faced an issue during video recording on Redmi Note 7 Pro recently, we have identified the root cause and have addressed the issue,” the company notes in the forum post. Apart from this, the update is also said to include July 2019 Android security patch, system performance and stability improvements, and a fix for the Game Turbo mode to display correctly the hands-free call duration. While users will get a notification for the update, they can check also for the update by going to Settings –> About phone –> System update on your Redmi Note 7 Pro.
This comes just days after the vendor released its flagship Redmi K20 Pro and mid-range Redmi K20 smartphones in India. Moreover, a week ago, Xiaomi revealed its plans and the list of smartphones including the Redmi K20 series and Mi 9 smartphones getting the latest Android Q update towards the fag end of the year.

The mid-range smartphone from the brand Redmi Note 7 Pro was announced earlier this year, and it comes with a starting price of Rs 13,999.
