Redmi Note 8 was launched in India back in October alongside the Redmi Note 8 Pro. The handset was available in two configurations — 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB — and is only available via flash sales through Amazon.in and Mi.com. Now, 91mobiles has learned from retail sources that a new 3GB + 32GB variant of Redmi Note 8 has been released exclusively for the offline market of the country and will not be sold online, for the immediate future at least. This new Redmi Note 8 variant is priced at Rs 9,799, a difference of Rs 200 compared to the Rs 9,999 price tag of the 4GB + 64GB option. Apart from the changes in RAM and storage, the rest of the specifications of the handset remain the same.
