Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone will now be available in a new Dark Sea Blue paintjob. Unfortunately, the new colour option is limited to only Taiwan right now and that too only for the 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB variants. With the new addition, the Redmi Note 8 Pro is now available in a total of four colour options, namely Gamma Green, Halo White, and Shadow Black. The rest of the specifications of the Redmi Note 8 Pro’s Dark Sea Blue version is the same as the regular version.

Redmi Note 8 Pro price
The price of Redmi Note 8 Pro Dark Sea Blue colour variant in Taiwan is set at NTD 6,599 (roughly Rs. 15,400) for the 6GB + 64GB model and NTD 7,599 (roughly Rs. 17,700) for the 6GB + 128GB model. There’s no word right now as to when the new colour option will be available in other markets.
Redmi Note 8 Pro specifications
The Redmi Note 8 Pro, which was launched in India last month, is Xiaomi’s only smartphone to pack 64-megapixel sensor as of now. The sensor has been included on the phone’s quad rear cameras that also include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The front camera of the Redmi Note 8 Pro packs a 20-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 lens for selfies and video calls. Under the hood, the Redmi Note 8 Pro rocks the octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T processor, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB user-expandable storage using a dedicated microSD card. The phone features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 4,500mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Software-wise, the Redmi Note 8 Pro boots Android 9 Pie-based MIUI 10 out of the box. In terms of connectivity, you get Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, IR blaster, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
