Xiaomi has permanently slashed the price of Redmi Note 8 Pro, four months after its launch in India. The handset’s price in India across colour variants now starts at Rs 13,999 instead of Rs 14,999, thanks to Rs 1,000 cut for its base 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The other variants of the Redmi Note 8 Pro, meanwhile, continue to retail at their launch prices, i.e. Rs 15,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and Rs 17,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option. The Redmi Note 8 Pro, to recall, comes in four hues: Gamma Green, Halo White, Electric Blue, and Shadow Black.

Coming to the specifications, the Redmi Note 8 Pro sports an astounding 64MP quad-camera setup. The handset has Samsung’s GW1 64MP as a primary sensor, which is paired with an 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor. The front camera of the phone gets a 20MP shooter for selfies and video calling. The Redmi Note 8 Pro is driven by Android 9 Pie-based MIUI 10 out of the box and sports a 6.53-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution, dot notch, 91.4 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

The phone also comes with built-in Alexa app and is available for purchase with the revised price tag on Xiaomi’s official e-store Mi.com and Amazon.in.
