Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 8 Pro price

Starting with the Redmi Note 8 Pro price, the base variant (6GB + 128GB) is expected to start at RMB 1,799 or Rs 18,000 roughly. The high-end 8GB + 128GB version could cost RMB 2,099 (about Rs 21,000). The Redmi Note 8 price is tipped to start at RMB 1,199 (roughly Rs 12,000) for the base 4GB + 64GB version. There should be at least one more variant for the Redmi Note 8 but unfortunately, that has not leaked now. It’s also worth noting that this is leaked information we’re talking about here and the actual prices can always differ from it. Hence, as always, the pricing is to be taken with the proverbial pinch of salt.

The Redmi Note 8 price is said to start at RMB 1,199 (about Rs 12,000), while the Redmi Note 8 Pro will reportedly cost RMB 1,799 (roughly Rs 18,000) for the base variant

Previous leaked information has revealed that the Note 8 Pro will come in Hail Green, Fritillaria White, and Electro-optic Ash (Grey) colours while the plain Redmi Note 8 will be available in Meteorite Black, Fantasy Blue, and White. The latest official teasers have also revealed a limited edition of the Note 8 Pro this time around. This new variant has been teased yesterday and could be called World of Warcraft 15th Anniversary Limited Edition, although Xiaomi might go for a more convenient naming scheme.

It’s also known that both the phones will boast of quad-cameras. The 64MP Samsung sensor on the Redmi Note 8 Pro will be the one to watch as the brand has teased the excellent detail-capturing prowess of the new sensor. It has a 4,500mAh battery, 25x zoom, 18W fast-charging, Liquid Cooling, and MediaTek G90T processor. The Redmi Note 8 will get a 48MP Sony sensor along with other lenses (wide-angle, macro) similar to its bigger sibling; it will be powered by the Snapdragon 665 processor. The China launch is on August 29th and we also expect a speedy launch in India considering strong competition from the likes of Realme.
