Redmi Note 9 5G series launch date has finally been officially revealed by Xiaomi through a poster spotted on Weibo. The upcoming smartphones are all set to go official next week on November 26th rather than November 24th as previously speculated. The lineup is expected to include the Redmi Note 9 5G, Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, and a 4G-only Redmi Note 9. So far, Redmi Note 9 5G and Note 9 Pro 5G specifications have been leaked several times and we have a pretty good idea on what to expect from the phone. The Redmi Note 9 Pro specifications and design leaked (and shown in the official poster image) all but confirm that it is a rebranded Mi 10T Lite.

Redmi Note 9 5G and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G prices
Redmi Note 9 5G price is said to start at RMB 1,000 (around Rs 11,200) for the base model, while the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G price is tipped to be RMB 1,500 (around Rs 16,800).
Redmi Note 9 5G series specifications
Redmi Note 9 5G is said to sport a 6.53-inch FHD+ punch-hole display, be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U, and likely to run Android 10-based MIUI 12 custom skin on top. It is expected to have triple cameras at the back comprising of a 48MP primary sensor. While details regarding the other two sensors are unknown, they could be an ultra-wide-angle lens and a depth sensor. A 13MP sensor is present on the front for selfies and video chats. The Redmi Note 9 5G is said to measure 161.96×77.25×9.20mm and weigh 200 grams.
As for the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G model, it is expected to be a rebrand of the Mi 10T Lite. The phone is said to come with a 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD display with 120Hz display, 240Hz touch sampling and punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 750G SoC paired with at least 8GB RAM. The Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G will come equipped with a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 primary camera, unlike the Mi 10T Lite which offers a 64MP camera. Lastly, the device should offer a 4,820mAh battery and 33W fast-charging support.
