Redmi Note 9 India launch has been officially teased by Xiaomi. While the exact launch date is yet to be revealed, we know that the handset will be sold on Amazon India as the listing is now live on the e-commerce platform. To recall, the Redmi Note 9 was unveiled globally back in April alongside the Redmi Note 9 Pro. The teaser image hints at the square-camera module at the back and it will look to take on the Realme Narzo 10 in the sub Rs 15,000 segment. Key Redmi Note 9 specifications include the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, a 5,020mAh battery with 18W fast-charging and a punch-hole design. A report from earlier today suggests the phone will debut in the 3rd week of July, most probably on July 20th.

To recall the Redmi Note 9 specifications, the phone sports a 6.53-inch full HD+ display with a punch-hole cutout at the top right for the selfie camera. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB expandable storage up to 512GB via microSD card slot. The phone runs on Android 10 OS with MIUI 11 out of the box. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C port
As for the optics, Redmi Note 9 features a quad-camera setup at the back with a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. There is a 13MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The Redmi Note 9 batter capacity is rated at 5,020mAh and supports 18W fast charging.
