Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G launch is set for November 26th and the device will be accompanied by a standard Redmi Note 9 5G and a 4G-only model. The past few weeks, several reports have detailed the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G specifications, telling us that the phone is essentially a rebranded Mi 10T Lite. Ahead of the launch now, Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing has confirmed that the upcoming Redmi Note 9 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset, much like the Mi 10T Lite. Additionally, tipster Digital Chat Station has tipped the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G camera specifications as well.
With the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 750G chipset, it seems that the phone is indeed a rebranded Mi 10T Lite. Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G price, however, is expected to be a lot cheaper than the Mi 10T Lite. Meanwhile, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G will feature a 108MP primary camera accompanied by a super wide-angle lens, a telephoto camera, and a macro lens. This is slightly different from the Mi 10T Lite, which comes with a 64MP primary camera.
Redmi Note 9 5G design has already been teased by the company and we get another glimpse of the phone in a promo image. The phone seems to have a slim form factor and will come in a dark blue colour option. The circular camera module will house four camera sensors. As for the display, the Redmi Note 9 5G series is expected to feature a punch-hole cutout, though we wait for official images to reveal that.
Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G specifications tipped so far also include a 6.67-inch LCD display, Snapdragon 750G chipset, 8GB RAM, and 108MP quad cameras. The phone is also expected to house a 4,820mAh battery and support 33W fast charging. Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G price and official specifications will be announced during the launch event on November 26th.
