Redmi Note 9 Pro has been spotted on Geekbench benchmark site ahead of its launch in India. The Redmi Note 9 series, which is expected to include the Redmi Note 9 and Note 9 Pro, is set to launch in India on March 12th.  The company has already revealed that the Redmi Note 9 series will go on sale on Amazon. Both Xiaomi and Amazon have revealed certain features of the Redmi Note 9 series, such as the quad camera setup and fast charging support. The Redmi Note 9 Pro Geekbench listing now reveals the smartphone will launch with 6GB of RAM, and may feature the same processor that is powering the upcoming Realme 6 Pro

Redmi Note 9 Pro Geekbench listing

The Redmi Note 9 Pro has scored 569 in single-core test and 1755 in multi-core test. These scores are more or less similar to the Realme 6 Pro Geekbench scores that were spotted a few days ago. While the benchmark site does not reveal the name of the processor, it is believed that the 1.80GHz octa-core Qualcomm chipset mentioned for both is the Snapdragon 720G SoC.

The Geekbench listing further reveals the Redmi Note 9 Pro will launch with 6GB of RAM and Android 10 OS. The smartphone may get additional RAM variants when it launches in India.

Redmi Note 9 series specifications

Both the Redmi Note 9 and Note 9 Pro are fairly mysterious phones as of now. The listing on Amazon does not reveal much about the smartphone in terms of design and hardware. We know that the Redmi Note 9 will sport a quad camera setup in a square-shaped module and a curved glass panel on the back. The series will also support fast charging and will launch with powerful processors. Beyond this, there is much that is unknown about the Redmi Note 9 series specifications.
