Redmi Note 9 Pro Max 8GB RAM variant with 128GB internal storage will go on sale in India for the first time on Wednesday, July 29th. Xiaomi announced the first sale date as part of its five major Redmi announcements today, with the previous one being the launch of the Redmi Prime smartphone on August 4th on Amazon. The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, to recall, was launched in India earlier this year in three variants. The 6GB RAM variants with 64GB and 128GB storage have already been on sale in the country. This will be the first time the high-end 8GB + 128GB variant will go on sale in India.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max 8GB RAM variant with 128GB internal storage is priced at Rs 19,999 in India. The phone will likely go on sale on Mi.com and Amazon India at 12pm IST. Meanwhile, the 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB variants are priced at Rs 16,499 and 17,999, respectively.
Redmi Note 9 Pro Max touts a 6.67-inch FHD+ (1080×2400) DotDisplay with Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 720G chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The handset features a quad camera setup that includes a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. It comes with NavIC GPS system along with other connectivity options like VoWiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band support, and dual SIM VoLTE HD calling. The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max houses a 5,020mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging.
