Redmi Watch 2 expected specifications
The Redmi Watch 2 seems to better the previous generation Redmi Watch by introducing a new 1.6 inch AMOLED display with slimmer bezels. This is a step up from the 1.4-inch LCD display offered on the original Redmi Watch. The bigger screen will impart a better screen-to-body ratio and offer more vibrant colours owing to its better display technology.
The design continues to be a square-shaped dial with rounded corners. Two strap colours, Pink and Black, have been identified from the teaser images also. The sides of the wearable will house a button for accessing and using items on the watch. In terms of fitness-related features, the new Redmi Watch 2 is expected to come with built-in GPS for tracking, heart rate monitor, sleep tracking, multiple activity tracking amongst other things. An SpO2 sensor will also be a welcome addition as the previous generation Redmi Watch does not offer that functionality.
The October 28th event is also expected to play host to the launch of the Redmi Note 11 series alongside the Redmi Watch 2. The Redmi Note 11 lineup will comprise of three models – Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus. Earlier today, the Redmi Note 11 series price and specifications leaked out. We expect to see more teaser images as the event gets nearer.
