Towards the end of the Redmi Note 10T India launch, the Xiaomi sub-brand teased the RedmiBook laptop and confirmed the product will debut in the country soon. This will join the company’s wide range of product lineup, including smart TV, audio, wearables and smartphones obviously. While the exact product details and launch timeline haven’t been revealed at the moment, we expect to start hearing more details in the next few weeks. This couldn’t come at a better time considering the “work from home” lifestyle is still progressing and the demand for good value for money laptops is still pretty good.

Xiaomi’s Mi Notebook 14 and Notebook Horizon were the bestsellers in the segment, thanks to the aggressive price tag and impressive internal hardware. This should have motivated Redmi to brings its RedmiBook portfolio to the country, which to be fair has been long overdue considering RedmiBook models have already received certifications in India and have been in the news for quite some time now. The RedmiBook laptops should take on the upcoming Relame Book, aka Realme laptop, which is also expected to debut sometime this year and be priced aggressively.

91mobiles had recently revealed that Xiaomi India will be launching two new laptops in the country very soon, namely the Mi Notebook Pro 14 and Mi Notebook Ultra 15. These will be actually rebranded versions of RedmiBook Pro 14 and RedmiBook Pro 15 sold in China. However, with the recent development from Redmi India, we will have to see if these laptops might debut in India with their original monikers (unless the company has different models in the works already). Either way, we can expect to learn more information about the RedmiBook and other laptops in the next few weeks, if not months. Stick around.
