RedmiBook Pro has been launched in China alongside the Redmi K40 series. The newest notebooks from Xiaomi come in 14-inch and 15-inch sizes. The RedmiBook Pro 14 and RedmiBook 15 laptops come with 11th-gen Intel Tiger lake CPUs. RedmiBook Pro 15-inch specifications include a 3.2K resolution panel, a 90Hz refresh rate screen, and a 100W fast charging solution. Both variants come with a 6-series Aviation Aluminium alloy with CNC integrated molding process and near bezel display. The RedmiBook Pro 14-inch comes with a 2.5K display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate, 56WHr battery, and 65W USB-C adapter.

The RedmiBook Pro 14-inch is up for pre-orders in China. The first sale of the laptop is scheduled for March 4th at a special price of RMB 4,299 (~Rs 51,000) for the base variant. The RedmiBook Pro 15-inch will be up for pre-orders from March 6th, with its sale starting from March 15th onwards. There is no word on RedmiBook Pro India launch date yet.

RedmiBook Pro specifications

RedmiBook Pro 14-inch and 15-inch both ship with 11th-gen Intel Tiger Lake i5 and i7 processors paired with either Intel Xe or Nvidia MX450 GPUs. The laptops rock 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM and 512GB fast PCIe SSD storage. The machines come pre-loaded with Windows 10 Home (China) with XiaoAI, MIUI+, and Microsoft Office Student edition out of the box. They sport 4W speakers with DTS Audio, fingerprint scanner for security, 720p webcam, backlit keyboard, and wireless connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth. The RedmiBook Pro also sports 1x USB-C Thunderbolt-4 port that supports 4K-ext. display at 60Hz, 1080p display up to 240Hz, 1xUSB-C, 1xUSB-A 3.2 Gen1, 1xUSB-A 2.0, 1×3.5mm audio jack, and 1xHDMI ports.

RedmiBook Pro 14 and 15

The notable differences between the two variants of the RedmiBook Pro are in the display, battery, and fast charging solution. The RedmiBook Pro 15-inch sports a 90Hz refresh rate screen that bears a 3.2K resolution (3200×2000 pixels), 242 PPI, 89.1 percent screen-body ratio, and 1500:1 contrast ratio. The display also touts a 16:10 aspect ratio, viewing angle of 178-degrees, TUV Rheinland certified for low-light emission, 100 percent sRGB colour gamut, and DC dimming. The laptop is driven by a 70WHr battery that supports a whopping 100W USB-C charging adapter.

The RedmiBook Pro 14-inch, on the other hand, sports a 2.5K (2,560×1,440) display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate, 88.2 percent screen-body ratio, TUV Rheinland certified for low-light emission, 100 percent sRGB colour gamut, 178-degree degree viewing angle, 300 nits max brightness, and DC dimming. Under the hood, it employs a 56WHr battery, which is backed by a 65W USB-C adapter.
