Tata Tigor EV features, specifications

The updated Tata Tigor EV now gets an extra 9km of range and now returns a claimed 315km on a single charge. This comes courtesy of the same 26kWh battery pack and an electric motor with an output of 74 BHP of peak power and 170 Nm of peak torque.

The new Tata Tigor EV also gets a four-level regenerative braking system that was earlier seen on the Tata Nexon EV twins and the brand-new Tata Tiago EV. The refresh also brings along some new feature additions such as rain-sensing wipers, auto headlamps, cruise control, leatherette upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Zconnect, smartwatch connectivity, iTPMS, and a tyre puncture kit.

Interestingly Tata will make some of the features backwards compatible as well. All existing Tata Tigor owners will get an option to get upgraded with multi-mode regen, iTPMS and tyre puncture kit for free starting from December 20, 2022. Higher spec XZ+ and XZ+ dual-tone will also get a smartwatch connectivity upgrade as well.
