OPPO Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro 5G smartphones are scheduled to go official on December 26th in China and now, ahead of the launch, live-images of the Pro variant leaked online, showcasing the design in its full glory. It has curved edges on either side of the display, and there is a punch-hole cutout to accommodate the selfie snapper. On the rear, it rocks vertically-arranged quad-camera setup and LED flash, and there is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. It is already confirmed the OPPO Reno 3 Pro and even the standard Reno 3 would run on the latest ColorOS 7 custom skin.
OPPO Reno 3 Pro and Reno 3 specifications
OPPO Reno 3 Pro 5G specifications are said to include a 6.5-inch full HD+ OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, 2,400 X 1,080 pixels resolution and ultra-slim bezels. It is confirmed to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC and will have 5G connectivity. In terms of optics, the Reno 3 Pro 5G is tipped to pack a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP telephoto lens, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth or macro lens. For selfies, it is said to rock a 32MP unit in the punch-hole cutout. It packs up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The OPPO Reno 3 Pro 5G has a 4,025mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. It will be available in Blue Starry Night, Misty White, Sunrise Impression and Moon Night Black colours.
On the other hand, the standard Reno 3 is said to ship with the new MediaTek 1000L Dimensity chipset coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, but there could be different variants as well. It is said to flaunt a 6.4-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch and in-display fingerprint sensor. As for the cameras, the standard Reno 3 will have a quad-camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. A 32-megapixel camera will take care of the selfies.
