So the total data you would be getting in this plan would be around 45-46.5GB. Once the data cap of 1.5 GB is exhausted, your speed will be limited to 64 kbps.
Along with mobile data, you will also get unlimited calling, 100 free outgoing SMSes per day, and access to a bunch of subscription services such as JioCinema, JioCloud, JioTV, and JioSecurity.
Conclusion
Benefits-wise, the Airtel Rs 319 recharge plan looks better than Jio Rs 259 plan. You get a bunch of complimentary benefits such as a Prime Video mobile edition access for first-time users, Rs 100 cashback on FASTag, and a Wynk Music subscription, along with 2GB of data per day, with the Airtel recharge plan.
However, if you are not a heavy data user and not into the complimentary subscription, the Jio Rs 259 monthly recharge plan makes perfect sense. The 1.5GB data/ day should be more than enough for lite browsing and scrolling through social media apps and more.
