Samsung has launched its air purifiers in India, amid an ongoing wave of poor air quality in Delhi NCR and other regions. Dubbed Samsung AX46 and AX32, the air purifiers are said to remove 99.97 percent nano-sized particles, bacteria, allergens, and ultrafine dust from the air. The devices are IoT (Internet of Things) enabled, which means they can be controlled remotely using smartphones, among other things. Additionally, the new Samsung air purifiers are designed to cover a wide area of up to 654 sq ft, according to the company. Samsung AX46, Samsung AX32 price in India
The Samsung AX46 air purifier has been priced at Rs 32,990 in India. The Samsung AX32, on the other hand, is a much more affordable option with a sticker price of Rs 12,990. Both purifiers are available in Grey and Beige colour options and can be bought via Samsung.com and Samsung exclusive stores. The air purifiers are also available at offline retail outlets across the country with cashback and no cost EMI option.
Samsung AX46 air purifier specifications
The Samsung AX46 comes with a Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of 467 cubic meters per hour. It has a multi-layered 3D purification system and comes with precise monitoring. The air purifier has a coverage area of up to 645 sq ft.
The Samsung AX46 comes with an Activated Carbon Deodorization Filter, which helps in removing harmful gases and particulate matter. Apart from that, the device packs a particulate matter (PM) 2.5 filter, which captures up to 99.97 percent of ultrafine dust, bacteria, and viruses. Furthermore, the Samsung AX46 has a Numeric Easy View Display, which offers real-time indoor air quality monitoring. The air purifier also has a four-colour level indicator for air purity. Moving on, the device can be controlled with the Samsung SmartThings app.
Samsung AX32 air purifier specifications
As for the affordable Samsung AX32 air purifier, it comes with a CADR of 320 cubic meters per hour. The device is suitable for a room as big as 356 sq ft. The air purifier packs an Activated Carbon Deodorization Filter, which helps in the removal of harmful gases, and an anti-bacterial (zinc oxide) dust-collecting filter for ultra-fine dust particles and bacteria.
Much like the Samsung AX46, the Samsung AX32 can also be accessed via the Samsung SmartThings app.
