- Revamped quick settings panel – Probably the biggest change in One UI 7 is the split-style notification panel. Swiping down on the status bar from the left side reveals the notifications tray while swiping from the right summons all the notification toggles and sliders. However, there is an option to switch back to the previous One UI 6 style.
- Brand new home screen icons – One UI 7 completely revamps the home screen app icons.
- Optimised app opening and closing animations – Along with improvements to transitions and animations throughout the UI, Samsung’s latest skin offers fluid and smoother app opening and closing animations.
- Now Bar – Now Bar is a brand new lockscreen feature that displays live activities such as Interpreter, Music, Recording, Stopwatch, and more. This prevents the need to unlock the phone to view key information.
- Reworked camera interface – The camera UI also gets a refreshed design for easy reachability of the menus and buttons within the viewfinder.
- New battery icon – A brand new pill-shaped battery icon has been brought to the status bar. Just like iOS and other Android skins, the battery percentage can be displayed inside the battery icon.
- Upgraded Galaxy AI capabilities – Samsung packs in more Galaxy AI features while improving the existing feature set.
