- Samsung launched the first One UI 8 beta update on May 28th, 2025.
- On June 13th, 2025, the beta update was released for the Galaxy S25 series in India. That includes:

- Weather routines in Modes and Routines: You can set routines for Cold Weather Alert or Umbrella Reminder that automatically tell you the weather forecast and prompt you to carry a sweater or umbrella.
- Dynamic Live Wallpapers: These gradient colour wallpapers automatically change the tone based on the time of day.
- Ongoing activities on Now Bar: You can see the ongoing stopwatch or timer, calls, and estimated arrival times for taxi or food deliveries. But apps need to support this feature for it to work
- Enhanced split screen mode: You can now maximise one of the split-screen apps more than before, and switch focus between apps by simply tapping on them.
- Easier audio broadcast with Auracast: You can do this by simply sharing a QR code
- Easily connect Hearing Aids through a new Assessability option.
- Auto-categorisation of screenshots in the Gallery app to Boarding Passes, Coupons, Shopping Lists, etc.
- Galaxy AI can understand what’s on your screen or in your camera view.
- Streamlined Quick Share app that can be accessed with one tap from a Quick Settings tile.
- Challenge friends for fitness goals within the Samsung Health app.
