At the Samsung Developer Conference 2024, the Korean giant announced its plans to expand OneUI support to its smart TVs. Shortly after, the company made the OneUI update available to its recently released flagship models from 2023 and 2024. Based on reports, the company is finally releasing the OneUI software for their more affordable TV models.
Steps to check and update your Samsung TV to OneUI
- As stated before, Samsung had already rolled out the OneUI update for its flagship TV models, namely the S90C, S95C, S90D, and S95D, back in October 2024.
- It seems that the company is finally extending the OneUI software to its more affordable TVs, as a user on Reddit has reported receiving the update on their QE1 QLED 4K Smart TV from 2023.
- The aforementioned model is a mid-range TV from Samsung from 2023. This suggests that the company might be rolling out updates for its TVs in the same segment.
- If you own a Samsung TV from the same segment, you can check if the brand has released OneUI update for your TV by following the steps mentioned below.
- Head to Settings on your TV > All Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now.
- Please ensure that your TV doesn’t disconnect from the power source during the update as it might damage the TV.
OneUI for TV: features
