- Samsung Galaxy A02 is expected to be an entry-level smartphone
- Samsung Galaxy A02 battery capacity will be 5,000mAh
- Other key Samsung Galaxy A02 specifications, such as RAM and OS, were earlier leaked through a Geekbench listing
Samsung Galaxy A02 specifications were leaked back in September this year but one of the crucial missing aspects of the previous leak, i.e. the battery capacity, has now been revealed. As per the certificate issued by CPQD R&D Center, which is a regulatory body in Latin America, Samsung Galaxy A02 (model no. SM-A025M/DS) will feature the battery with model code HQ-50S. Notably, this battery model was earlier spotted on TUV Rheinland with a typical capacity of 5,000mAh and a rated capacity of 4,800mAh. In other words, we can expect the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A02 to pack a respectable 5,000mAh battery.
SamMobile speculates that the Galaxy M02 could also pack a 5,000mAh battery as the phone shares its other core specs with the Galaxy A02, going by the previous leaks. The report also points out that the early leaks have indicated that this might be the same phone rebranded for different markets under the monikers Galaxy A02 and Galaxy M02.
