Samsung in a bit to strengthen their budget smartphone lineup, today announced the Galaxy A03 Core Android Go smartphone in the country. The phone comes just a month after the regular Galaxy A03 Core was announced. The phone comes with an Android 11 Go edition to keep the costs down, features a 6.5-inch LCD panel and a rather large 5,000mAh battery. The phone has been launched in just a single RAM/memory option which is typically seen with Android Go edition phones.

The phone comes in just a single variant with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. It is available in two colours Blue and Black with plastic unibody construction. Galaxy A03 Core Android Go Edition is priced at Rs 7,999 and is available starting today via offline retailers, Samsung.com and other e-commerce stores online. There are no launch discounts at the moment but there should be some Samsung loyalty offers available on Samsung.com.

The Samsung Galaxy A03 Core Android Go Edition packs a 6.5-inch dew-drop not LCD panel with an HD+ resolution. Samsung refers to dew-drop notches as Infinity-V panels. It is powered by the Unisoc 9863A SoC and comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. In terms of optics, the phone has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. A large 5,000mAh battery juices the phone and there is a 10W charger supplied with the phone.
